Many components in fluid control technology are now made from technical plastics, whereas previously only brass, stainless steel, or bronze were used. This development brings advantages such as weight reduction, corrosion resistance, and design freedom - but also poses new requirements for injection molding technology: Absolute tightness, dimensional accuracy in the micrometer range, and the processing of highly resistant materials such as PA, POM, PEEK, or PPS are standard.

A special challenge is posed by components with multiple internal threads in a confined space - be it for valve housings, wellness shower fittings, or fluid and gas handling systems in vehicles.
