4. Cookies

The websites of Servomold GmbH & Co. KG use cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored on a computer system via an internet browser.

Numerous websites and servers use cookies. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cookie ID is a unique identifier of the cookie. It consists of a character string through which websites and servers can be assigned to the specific internet browser in which the cookie was stored. This allows the visited websites and servers to distinguish the individual browser of the person concerned from other internet browsers that contain different cookies. A specific internet browser can be recognized and identified again via the unique cookie ID.

By using cookies, Servomold GmbH & Co. KG can provide users of this website with more user-friendly services that would not be possible without setting cookies.

By means of a cookie, the information and offers on our website can be optimized in the user's interest. As mentioned before, cookies allow us to recognize the users of our website. The purpose of this recognition is to make it easier for users to use our website. For example, a user of a website that uses cookies does not have to enter his access data again each time he visits the website, because this is taken over by the website and the cookie stored on the user's computer system. Another example is the cookie of a shopping cart in the online shop. The online shop remembers the items that a customer has placed in the virtual shopping cart via a cookie.

The data subject can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by means of a corresponding setting of the internet browser used and thus object to the setting of cookies permanently. Furthermore, already set cookies can be deleted at any time via an internet browser or other software programs. This is possible in all common internet browsers. If the data subject deactivates the setting of cookies in the internet browser used, not all functions of our website may be fully usable.

5. Collection of general data and information

The website of Servomold GmbH & Co. KG collects a series of general data and information with each visit to the website by an affected person or an automated system. This general data and information are stored in the server's log files. The following data may be collected: (1) types and versions of browsers used, (2) operating system used by the accessing system, (3) the website from which an accessing system reaches our website (so-called referrers), (4) the subpages accessed via an accessing system on our website, (5) the date and time of access to the website, (6) an Internet Protocol address (IP address), (7) the Internet service provider of the accessing system, and (8) other similar data and information that serve to prevent threats in the event of attacks on our information technology systems.

6. Subscription to our newsletter

On the website of Servomold GmbH & Co. KG, users are given the opportunity to subscribe to our company's newsletter. The personal data that is transmitted to the data controller when ordering the newsletter is determined by the input mask used for this purpose.

Servomold GmbH & Co. KG informs its customers and business partners at regular intervals via a newsletter about the company's offers. The newsletter of our company can generally only be received by the individual concerned if (1) the individual has a valid email address and (2) the individual has registered for the newsletter. For legal reasons, a confirmation email is sent to the email address initially entered by an individual for newsletter delivery using the double opt-in procedure. This confirmation email is used to verify whether the owner of the email address as the individual concerned has authorized the receipt of the newsletter.

When registering for the newsletter, we also store the IP address assigned by the Internet service provider (ISP) of the computer system used by the person concerned at the time of registration, as well as the date and time of registration. The collection of this data is necessary in order to be able to trace any (possible) misuse of the email address of a person concerned at a later date and therefore serves the legal protection of the data controller responsible for processing.

7. Newsletter Tracking

The newsletters of Servomold GmbH & Co. KG contain so-called tracking pixels. A tracking pixel is a miniature graphic embedded in such emails that are sent in HTML format to enable log file recording and log file analysis. This allows for a statistical evaluation of the success or failure of online marketing campaigns. Based on the embedded tracking pixels, Servomold GmbH & Co. KG can determine whether and when an email was opened by an individual and which links contained in the email were accessed by the individual.

Such personal data collected through tracking pixels contained in the newsletters is stored and analyzed by the data controller in order to optimize the newsletter distribution and to better tailor the content of future newsletters to the interests of the data subject. This personal data is not shared with third parties. Data subjects are entitled to revoke their consent given through the double opt-in procedure at any time. After revocation, this personal data will be deleted by the data controller. Unsubscribing from the newsletter is automatically considered a revocation by Servomold GmbH & Co. KG.

8. Contact option via the website

The website of Servomold GmbH & Co. KG contains information due to legal requirements that enable quick electronic contact with our company as well as immediate communication with us, which also includes a general address of the so-called electronic mail (email address). If an individual contacts the data controller by email or via a contact form, the personal data transmitted by the individual will be automatically stored. Such personal data voluntarily provided by an individual to the data controller will be stored for the purpose of processing or contacting the individual. There is no disclosure of this personal data to third parties.

9. Routine deletion and blocking of personal data

The data controller processes and stores personal data of the data subject only for the period necessary to achieve the purpose of storage or as required by the European legislator or another legislator in laws or regulations to which the data controller is subject.

11. Data protection in job applications and during the application process

How can I assist you today?

12. Data protection provisions on the use and application of Facebook

The controller responsible for processing has integrated components of the company Facebook on this website. Facebook is a social network.

A social network is a social meeting point operated on the internet, an online community that generally allows users to communicate with each other and interact in the virtual space. A social network can serve as a platform for exchanging opinions and experiences or enable the online community to provide personal or business-related information. Facebook allows users of the social network to create private profiles, upload photos, and connect through friend requests, among other features.

The operator of Facebook is Facebook, Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA. The data controller for processing personal data, if a data subject lives outside the USA or Canada, is Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.

By calling up any of the individual pages of this website operated by the data controller and on which a Facebook component (Facebook plug-in) has been integrated, the internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically prompted by the respective Facebook component to download a display of the corresponding Facebook component from Facebook. An overview of all Facebook plug-ins can be accessed at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/?locale=en_US. As part of this technical process, Facebook becomes aware of which specific subpage of our website is visited by the data subject.

If the data subject is simultaneously logged into Facebook, Facebook recognizes with each visit to our website by the data subject and throughout the duration of the respective stay on our website, which specific subpage of our website the data subject visits. This information is collected by the Facebook component and assigned by Facebook to the respective Facebook account of the data subject. If the data subject clicks on one of the Facebook buttons integrated on our website, for example the "Like" button, or if the data subject makes a comment, Facebook assigns this information to the personal Facebook user account of the data subject and stores this personal data.

Facebook receives information via the Facebook component whenever the data subject visits our website while logged into Facebook at the same time; this occurs regardless of whether the data subject clicks on the Facebook component or not. If the data subject does not want such information to be transmitted to Facebook, they can prevent this by logging out of their Facebook account before accessing our website.

The data policy published by Facebook, which can be accessed at https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/, provides information on the collection, processing, and use of personal data by Facebook. Furthermore, it explains the privacy settings that Facebook offers to protect the privacy of the individuals concerned. In addition, there are various applications available that allow for blocking data transmission to Facebook. Such applications can be used by the individuals concerned to prevent data transmission to Facebook.

13. Data protection provisions on the use and application of Google Analytics (with anonymization function)

The data controller has integrated the Google Analytics component (with anonymization function) on this website. Google Analytics is a web analytics service. Web analytics is the collection, gathering, and analysis of data about the behavior of visitors to websites. A web analytics service collects data, among other things, about from which website a data subject has accessed a website (so-called referrer), which subpages of the website were accessed, or how often and for what duration a subpage was viewed. Web analytics is mainly used for optimizing a website and for cost-benefit analysis of internet advertising.

The operator of the Google Analytics component is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland.

The data controller uses the addition "_gat._anonymizeIp" for web analysis via Google Analytics. By means of this addition, the IP address of the data subject's Internet connection is shortened and anonymized by Google when accessing our websites from a Member State of the European Union or from another contracting state of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

The purpose of the Google Analytics component is to analyze visitor traffic on our website. Google uses the data and information obtained, among other things, to evaluate the use of our website, to compile online reports for us that show the activities on our websites, and to provide other services related to the use of our website.

Google Analytics sets a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. What cookies are has already been explained above. By setting the cookie, Google is enabled to analyze the use of our website. With each call-up to one of the individual pages of this website, which is operated by the controller and into which a Google Analytics component was integrated, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject will automatically submit data through the Google Analytics component for the purpose of online analysis to Google. As part of this technical process, Google gains knowledge of personal data, such as the IP address of the data subject, which serves Google, among other things, to understand the origin of visitors and clicks and subsequently enable commission settlements.

Personal information such as access time, location of access, and frequency of visits to our website by the individual concerned is stored through cookies. During each visit to our website, this personal data, including the IP address of the internet connection used by the individual, is transferred to Google in the United States of America. This personal data is stored by Google in the United States of America. Google may disclose this personal data collected through the technical process to third parties.

The data subject can prevent the setting of cookies by our website, as described above, at any time by means of a corresponding setting of the internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Such a setting of the internet browser used would also prevent Google from setting a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. In addition, cookies already set by Google Analytics can be deleted at any time via the internet browser or other software programs.

Further information and the applicable privacy policy of Google can be found at https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/ and at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/en.html. Google Analytics is explained in more detail at this link https://www.google.com/intl/en_en/analytics/.

14. Data protection provisions on the use and application of Google AdWords

The data controller has integrated Google AdWords on this website. Google AdWords is an internet advertising service that allows advertisers to place ads in Google search engine results as well as in the Google advertising network. Google AdWords enables an advertiser to pre-define specific keywords through which an ad will only be displayed in Google search engine results when the user retrieves a keyword-relevant search result. In the Google advertising network, ads are distributed on topic-relevant websites using an automatic algorithm and considering the predefined keywords.

The operator of the Google AdWords services is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland.

The purpose of Google AdWords is to promote our website by displaying interest-relevant advertising on the websites of third-party companies and in the search engine results of the Google search engine, as well as displaying third-party advertising on our website.

If a data subject accesses our website via a Google ad, Google will place a so-called conversion cookie on the data subject's information technology system. The nature of cookies has already been explained above. A conversion cookie loses its validity after thirty days and does not serve to identify the data subject. Through the conversion cookie, it can be tracked, as long as the cookie has not expired, whether certain sub-pages, such as the shopping cart of an online shop system, were accessed on our website. The conversion cookie allows both us and Google to determine whether a data subject who accessed our website via an AdWords ad generated revenue, i.e., completed or canceled a purchase.

The data and information collected through the use of the conversion cookie are used by Google to create visit statistics for our website. These visit statistics are in turn used by us to determine the total number of users who were referred to us through AdWords ads, in order to determine the success or failure of the respective AdWords ad and to optimize our AdWords ads for the future. Neither our company nor other advertising customers of Google AdWords receive information from Google that could be used to identify the individual.

Personal information, such as the websites visited by the data subject, is stored through the conversion cookie. Therefore, personal data, including the IP address of the internet connection used by the data subject, is transferred to Google in the United States of America every time our websites are visited.

Such a setting of the internet browser used would also prevent Google from setting a conversion cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. In addition, cookies already set by Google AdWords can be deleted at any time via the internet browser or other software programs.

Furthermore, the data subject has the option to object to interest-based advertising by Google. To do this, the data subject must access the link www.google.de/settings/ads from each internet browser they use and adjust the settings as desired.

Further information and the applicable privacy policies of Google can be accessed at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

15. Data protection provisions regarding the use and application of LinkedIn

The data controller has integrated components of the LinkedIn Corporation on this website. LinkedIn is an internet-based social network that enables users to connect with existing business contacts and establish new business contacts. Over 400 million registered individuals use LinkedIn in more than 200 countries. LinkedIn is currently the largest platform for business contacts and one of the most visited websites in the world.

The operator of LinkedIn is LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. For data protection matters outside the USA, LinkedIn Ireland, Privacy Policy Issues, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland, is responsible.

With each individual access to our website, which is equipped with a LinkedIn component (LinkedIn plug-in), this component causes the browser used by the person concerned to download a corresponding display of the LinkedIn component. Further information about LinkedIn plug-ins can be found at https://developer.linkedin.com/plugins. As part of this technical process, LinkedIn becomes aware of which specific subpage of our website is visited by the person concerned.

If the data subject is simultaneously logged into LinkedIn, LinkedIn recognizes with each visit to our website by the data subject and throughout the duration of the respective stay on our website, which specific subpage of our website the data subject visits. This information is collected by the LinkedIn component and assigned by LinkedIn to the respective LinkedIn account of the data subject. If the data subject clicks on an integrated LinkedIn button on our website, LinkedIn assigns this information to the personal LinkedIn user account of the data subject and stores this personal data.

LinkedIn receives information via the LinkedIn component whenever the data subject visits our website while logged into LinkedIn at the same time; this occurs regardless of whether the data subject clicks on the LinkedIn component or not. If the data subject does not want such information to be transmitted to LinkedIn, they can prevent this by logging out of their LinkedIn account before visiting our website.

LinkedIn offers the possibility to unsubscribe from email messages, SMS messages, and targeted ads, as well as to manage ad settings at https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls. LinkedIn also uses partners such as Quantcast, Google Analytics, BlueKai, DoubleClick, Nielsen, Comscore, Eloqua, and Lotame, which may set cookies. Such cookies can be rejected at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/cookie-policy. The applicable privacy policy of LinkedIn can be found at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy. LinkedIn's cookie policy is available at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/cookie-policy.

16. Data protection provisions on the use and application of YouTube

The data controller has integrated components of YouTube on this website. YouTube is an internet video portal that allows video publishers to upload video clips for free and enables other users to view, rate, and comment on them also for free. YouTube allows the publication of all types of videos, which is why both complete films and TV shows, as well as music videos, trailers, or user-generated videos, can be accessed via the internet portal.

The operator of YouTube is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland.

By calling up any of the individual pages of this website operated by the data controller and on which a YouTube component (YouTube video) has been integrated, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically prompted by the respective YouTube component to download a representation of the corresponding YouTube component from YouTube. Further information about YouTube can be accessed at https://www.youtube.com/yt/about/en/. As part of this technical process, YouTube and Google gain knowledge of which specific subpage of our website is visited by the data subject.

If the data subject is logged in on YouTube at the same time, YouTube recognizes with the call of a subpage containing a YouTube video which specific subpage of our website the data subject is visiting. This information is collected by YouTube and Google and assigned to the respective YouTube account of the data subject.

YouTube and Google receive information via the YouTube component whenever the data subject has visited our website at the same time as being logged into YouTube; this occurs regardless of whether the data subject clicks on a YouTube video or not. If the data subject does not want such information to be transmitted to YouTube and Google, they can prevent this transmission by logging out of their YouTube account before visiting our website.

The privacy policy published by YouTube, which can be accessed at https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/, provides information about the collection, processing, and use of personal data by YouTube and Google.

18. Data protection provisions for Microsoft Clarity

We work with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website. This is done through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Data on website usage is collected using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for website optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising. For more information on how Microsoft collects and uses your data, please refer to Microsoft's privacy policy.

19. Legal basis for processing

20. Legitimate interests pursued by the controller or a third party

If the processing of personal data is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, our legitimate interest is the conduct of our business activities for the benefit of the well-being of all our employees and shareholders.

21. Duration for which the personal data will be stored

The criterion for the duration of storage of personal data is the respective legal retention period. After the expiry of the period, the corresponding data will be routinely deleted if they are no longer required for the fulfillment of a contract or for contract initiation.

22. Legal or contractual provisions regarding the provision of personal data; necessity for the conclusion of the contract; obligation of the data subject to provide the personal data; possible consequences of non-provision.

23. Existence of automated decision-making

As a responsible company, we refrain from automatic decision-making or profiling.
