The anniversary year 2023 represents a special milestone on our path to success. Together with our employees, we celebrate our 25th anniversary and take the opportunity to look back on the past as well as the future of the company.

Celebrating 25 successful years as a specialist in the development of injection molding tool solutions is not something that happens every day. The Servomold team is taking advantage of this special occasion to host a small but nice summer party with employees and their families, which will take place at the company's premises in Erbach. Surely, on this day, some guests will also reminisce about the very early beginnings:
In May 1998, Bianca and Thomas Meister founded Exacon Verwaltungs GmbH and offered services related to the construction and development of injection molding tools from their home in Hiltersklingen in the Odenwald region. Still under their management today, the company has grown to become one of the most innovative and efficient developers, manufacturers, and suppliers of servo systems for injection molding tooling, with 40 employees worldwide.
The fact that progress and change often go hand in hand is demonstrated by a series of changes in locations and names that have accompanied the development from the initially sparsely equipped but highly knowledgeable "Kellerkind" of the early days to its current status. Following its foundation, in 1999 the development and patenting of tunnel gate inserts took place, leading to the establishment of Exaflow GmbH & Co. KG and a relocation to larger premises in Groß-Umstadt. The renaming to i-mold GmbH & Co. KG and the subsequent move to Brensbach in 2004, once again due to lack of space, marked the beginning of hot runner system sales. Five years later, the company moved to Michelstadt. There, in 2011, Thomas Meister founded Servomold GmbH & Co. KG, whose innovative systems for servo-electric automation of linear and rotary movements in injection molds were initially integrated into the i-mold product portfolio.
2016 was finally the starting point for the construction of the present, spacious company building on the outskirts of Erbach. Today, 620 m² of office space, including seven CAD workstations, provide a modern working environment for employees in development, quality assurance, sales, and administration. The production hall with its own machine tools supports external partners and helps to reduce delivery times.
In the following years, Servomold initially remained just the brand name of the innovative product line. This changed fundamentally in 2022, after Thomas Meister had clearly recognized that the future lay and will continue to lie in servo automation. The consequence was the renaming of i-mold to Servomold GmbH & Co. KG.
The focus is now 100 percent on servo-electric unscrewing systems and linear actuators for efficient, clean, and safe injection molding production.

Today we are happy about the outcome that the long journey and its twists have led to.
