Screwing unit with synchronized linear movement

for tubular parts with a helical inner contour / thread

The servo-electric unscrewing unit (SLU) combines the unscrewing motion with a synchronized, linear slider movement. It demolds helical internal and external contours with micrometer precision and repeatability. The standardized core holder accommodates individual mold contour attachments, allowing for a quick change between different contours and pitches.

  • Optimal concentration
  • Maintenance-free high-performance servo motor
  • Individual thread core design
SLU Main

Unscrewing motion coupled with linear motion

Advantages at a glance

Electronically synchronized master-slave control - backlash-free, high-precision rotary and linear motion in one unit

Large thread pitches easily achievable – overcomes the limits of classic lead screw nut systems

Fully integrated slide and core cooling – optimal cooling performance for shortest cycle times

Cleanroom suitable – without hydraulic oil, free of leaks, minimum quantity lubrication

No wear on the guide bush, no susceptibility to contamination - higher availability, lower maintenance costs

Universal core holder in preloaded tapered roller bearings – locked μm-precisely against injection pressure

Standardized core holder with individual contour inserts - quickly exchangeable, maximum flexibility
