Innovative mould solutions in multi-component injection moulding
Rubber-like grip pieces, movable drinking attachments and multi-coloured surfaces: Multi-component injection moulding processes convince with the possibility of combining harder and softer materials in one moulded part and thus producing products and packaging with a special feel and special functions. In addition to our demoulding systems, our servo technology for rotating index plates is also used successfully in multi-component processes.
Index plate rotation via worm gear or toothed belt also makes it possible to integrate steps such as punching or additional filling in your mould. The servo-electric rotation of platen assemblies up to 500 kg achieves 180-degree rotation times of less than one second for achieving the fastest cycle times. Our expertise here includes the planning and realisation of index plates to the drive of turntables for the rotation of complete mould halves.
