KG, a leading company in pneumatic and electrical automation technology, was also faced with this question in 2016. Well-established, but far from being outdated, one of the earliest Servomold unscrewing systems - the 8-fold unscrewing unit for the Swiss company Wild & Küpfer AG - has been doing its job reliably for 11 years. After more than 43 million successfully unscrewed molded parts, it is high time to tell a joint success story that continues to this day.

In global competition, modern injection moulding production faces extreme demands for high capacity and speed as well as minimal scrap. Servomold rises to the challenge and supports your process with servo-electric systems for the automated demoulding of a wide variety of moulded parts. Components and systems from drive and gear trains to complete unscrewing halves are designed in close cooperation according to your specifications, manufactured in-house by Servomold and then commissioned on site.
The strengths of our systems start here with the compact integration and plug-and-play compatibility for all common injection moulding machines via the specialised servo control unit. Perfectly tuned and pre-programmed with the most important mould functions, our system fits seamlessly into your injection moulding process - ready for fail-safe and low-maintenance continuous operation that allows you to realise your production goal.

Innovative mould solutions in multi-component injection moulding
Rubber-like grip pieces, movable drinking attachments and multi-coloured surfaces: Multi-component injection moulding processes convince with the possibility of combining harder and softer materials in one moulded part and thus producing products and packaging with a special feel and special functions. In addition to our demoulding systems, our servo technology for rotating index plates is also used successfully in multi-component processes.
Index plate rotation via worm gear or toothed belt also makes it possible to integrate steps such as punching or additional filling in your mould. The servo-electric rotation of platen assemblies up to 500 kg achieves 180-degree rotation times of less than one second for achieving the fastest cycle times. Our expertise here includes the planning and realisation of index plates to the drive of turntables for the rotation of complete mould halves.
